The Educator

Wajahat Khan teaches and lectures internationally and likes to include educational projects along with his concerts. He has given concerts and workshop courses around the world (some listed below). He has also given illustrated talks on radio and television introducing and explaining Indian music, most notably presenting a highly acclaimed and successful BBC World Service series entitled "A Mystical Music".

In London, he is the founder director of his own Academy of World Music, and an Artist in Residence at the SOAS, University of London where he is also working on a book about Indian music in performance. He also lectures at Morley College, and regularly gives lecture demonstrations at various educational institutions of SPICMACAY throughout India.
